सीएसआर की पहल

• उत्तराखंड आपदा के लिए प्रधान मंत्री राष्ट्रीय राहत कोष में ₹1.00 करोड़ की राशि का योगदान।
                   
• फैलिन चक्रवात में राहत और पुनर्वास गतिविधियों के लिए बिहार मुख्यमंत्री राहत कोष में ₹50.00 लाख का योगदान।
                   
• फैलिन चक्रवात में राहत और पुनर्वास गतिविधियों के लिए ओडिशा के मुख्यमंत्री राहत कोष में ₹50.00 लाख का योगदान।

                   

  • होशंगाबाद (म.प्र.) में पर्यावरण संरक्षण हेतु नर्मदा पट्टी के निकट वृक्षारोपण की परियोजना कुल ₹ 1.19 करोड़ की लागत से प्रारंभ की गई है, जिसमें से ₹ ​​50.00 लाख वर्ष 2012-13 के दौरान तथा ₹33,14,445/- व्यय किए गए हैं। - वर्ष 2013-14 के दौरान।

  • ₹23,00,000/- की लागत से बीएनपी, देवास कार्यालय भवन के 1/3 आच्छादित क्षेत्र में वर्षा जल संचयन प्रणाली प्रदान की गई।

                   

  • सतत विकास के तहत ₹15,46,944/- की लागत से आईजीएम, मुंबई में कॉइनिंग प्रेस, ब्लैंकिंग प्रेस और पीपीएल सिस्टम में इलेक्ट्रोस्टैटिक ऑयल फिल्ट्रेशन मशीन प्रदान की गई।

                   

 • SPMCIL ने 11 और 12 जुलाई, 2013 को Ni-MSME, हैदराबाद में MSME प्रशिक्षण आयोजित किया है और `2,69,805/- की राशि खर्च की गई है

                   

• SPMCIL ने इस वर्ष के दौरान Ni-MSME हैदराबाद के साथ 50 MSME कार्मिकों के लिए रु. की लागत से प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम चलाया है। 2.63 लाख।

• होशंगाबाद (मध्यप्रदेश) में पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए नर्मदा पट्टी के समीप वृक्षारोपण की परियोजना पर कुल 50.00 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से कार्य शुरू किया गया है। 1.19 करोड़, जिसमें से रु। वर्ष 2012-13 में 50.00 लाख व्यय किया गया है।
• एसपीएमसीआईएल ने सागर और गोसाबा में 10 नग लड़कियों के शौचालय और काकद्वीप, पश्चिम बंगाल में लड़कियों के छात्रावास में एक शौचालय का निर्माण किया है, जिसकी कुल लागत रु. इस वर्ष के दौरान 23.00 लाख।

• एसपीएमसीआईएल ने होशंगाबाद जिले के 4 (चार) गांवों में `6,97,160/- की लागत से सौर प्रकाश व्यवस्था प्रदान की है।
• एसपीएमसीआईएल ने सतत विकास के तहत ₹20,73,273/- की लागत से आईजीएम, कोलकाता में सोलर एलईडी स्ट्रीट लाइटिंग प्रदान की है।

• एसपीएमसीआईएल ने 547,000/ रुपये की लागत से देवास (मध्य प्रदेश) के पास मुदुका गांव में पीने के पानी की सुविधा प्रदान की है।
• SPMCIL ने महाराष्ट्र के त्रंबकेश्वर जिला नासिक के निकट अधारतीरथ आधाराश्रम को 10.83 लाख रुपये की लागत से पीने के पानी की सुविधा भी प्रदान की है।
• एसपीएमसीआईएल ने जिला होशंगाबाद (मध्य प्रदेश) के केसला ब्लॉक के छीतापुरा, भटाना, जलीखेरा और चटुआ नाम के 4 गांवों में कुल 16.00 लाख रुपये की लागत से पेयजल सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई है।

• एसपीएमसीआईएल ने CPWD के माध्यम से देवास (एमपी) में लैंड स्केपिंग सहित सड़क के किनारे की सुविधाओं के साथ-साथ 59.71 लाख रुपये की लागत से बीएनपी राधागंज गेट से भोपाल चौराहा तक पहुंच मार्ग की व्यापक मरम्मत का कार्य किया है।
• यू.एस. जिमखाना, आईएसपी को नासिक पुणे हाईवे और नासिक में जेल रोड साइड से जोड़ने वाली सड़क के लिए सड़क के किनारे सुविधाओं के सुधार के संबंध में अतिरिक्त कार्य भी नासिक के संभागीय आयुक्त के माध्यम से रु. 19.00 लाख की लागत से किया गया है।
• एसपीएमसीआईएल ने दृष्टिबाधित बच्चों के लिए सहयोग विशेष आवासीय विद्यालय होशंगाबाद (एमपी) को 16 सीटर बस प्रदान की है। 9.15 लाख।

 सीएसआर पहल के एक भाग के रूप में एसपीएमसीआईएल ने पिछड़े क्षेत्रों में बालिकाओं पर विशेष ध्यान देते हुए शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने के लिए 19.10.2010 को भारती फाउंडेशन के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए। समझौता ज्ञापन के अनुसार, भारती फाउंडेशन द्वारा भूमि प्रदान की गई और एसपीएमसीआईएल ने पश्चिम बंगाल के जिला मुर्शिदाबाद में 9 (नौ) प्राथमिक विद्यालयों का निर्माण किया। एसपीएमसीआईएल ने गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा की सुविधा के लिए फर्नीचर और उपकरणों के लिए आवश्यक धन भी उपलब्ध कराया है। एसपीएमसीआईएल ने वर्ष 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13 और 2013-14 के दौरान क्रमशः 102.52 लाख, 293.19 लाख, 102.25 लाख और 7.38 लाख का व्यय किया है।


अब तक 1601 छात्र प्री-प्राइमरी, कक्षा I, II और III में पढ़ रहे हैं, जिसमें 51.19% लड़कियां और 48.81% लड़के शामिल हैं।

• अब तक 1309 छात्र प्री-प्राइमरी, कक्षा I, II और III के स्कूलों में पढ़ रहे हैं, जिसमें 51.91% लड़कियां और 48.81% लड़के शामिल हैं।

• एसपीएमसीआईएल ने इंडियन रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी के माध्यम से महाराष्ट्र के रायगढ़ जिले में ग्रामीण स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के लिए `15.00 लाख की मोबाइल वैन प्रदान की है, जिसमें से `7,50,000 की राशि 2012-13 के दौरान और `7,19,733/- की राशि 2012-13 के दौरान खर्च की गई थी 2013-14।

• एसपीएमसीआईएल ने होशंगाबाद जिले में `27,01,800/- की लागत से अक्षय पात्र फाउंडेशन को मेडक (एपी) में 4 खाद्य वितरण वाहन प्रदान किए हैं।

• एसपीएमसीआईएल ने ₹15,15,137/- की लागत से एलिम्को, कानपुर के माध्यम से विकलांग व्यक्तियों को सहायता और उपकरण प्रदान किए हैं।

• एसपीएमसीआईएल ने नारायण सेवा संस्थान, उदयपुर के माध्यम से ₹17,00,000/- की लागत से पोलियो प्रभावित 500 बच्चों के लिए वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की है।

The Subordinate Industrial/office Staff are supervised by concerned Supervisors/Senior Supervisors who inturn report to the concerned executives to whom the work has been allocated. These Executives work is supervised by respective functional heads . In turn The Chief General Manager oversees/supervises the overall unit with the help of the Functional heads.

SAIFABAD MINT

In 1903, the whole process of minting was overhauled on the lines of European Mints and Mint was moved to Saifabad, from Darush-Shifa, in the premises which it occupies to this day. The new building was erected at a cost of Rs.2,67,424/-and modern machinery and equipments was installed to the value of Rs. 4,89,906/- thus bringing the total cost upto Rs. ,57,330/-. This has since been added from time to time.
In 1948 the State of Hyderabad came under the control of Government of India. The Nizam of Hyderabad was made Raj Pramukh. Minting of Osmania Sicca was continued in Saifabad Mint until middle of fifties. Thereafter, Government of India introduced decimal coin in 1957, soon manufacturing of 12 paise, 2paise, 3 paise, 5paise, 10 paise, 25 paise and 50 paise was taken up. Administratively, Hyderabad Mint was under the control of Bombay Mint from 1948 to 1962. Thereafter Hyderabad Mint functioned independently and reported directly to the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs, under the Government of India, New Delhi. Over the years there have been many changes in machinery as well as coinage alloys. A second shift in night was introduced to enhance production. The strength of staff and workmen rose to nearly 1200. The production touched 2.0 million pieces per day. Initially, lower denominations up to 50 paise were struck in Hyderabad Mint. Slowly, with the increase in demand of higher denominations, Hyderabad Mint took up production of Rs. 5, Rs. 2 and Rs. 1 etc. at par with other Mints. As a result Mint had to handle increase in volume.The present space was found to be cramped with more metal and men. Also old machineries required to be replaced and technology was required to be upgraded in line with modern trend in the world to churn out more and better quality of coins. In 1991 Government of India decided to go for ambitious modernization programme for three Mints at Bombay, Calcutta and Hyderabad. Since the space in the present Mint was not sufficient it was decided to build a New Mint altogether at Cherlapally and to shift activities from Saifabad to the new place. Accordingly, a new Mint was equipped with new advanced machineries at Cherlapally on 20th August, 1997. All the operations which are hazardous to environment have been shifted to Cherlapally.

• The Unit Mints Coins of various denominations under the Coinage Act, 2011 as per the indent received from RBI/Ministry of Finance/SPMCIL. In addition Medals, Medallions for Police, Government Departments, Universities are made. Further, Gold & Silver assaying is also done for various Stake holders

Overall management of the Company is vested with the Board of Directors of the Company, which is the highest decision making body within the Company. As per the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 certain matters require the approval of the shareholders of the Company in General Meeting. The Board of Directors is accountable to the shareholders of the Company. India Government Mint Hyderabad being a Unit of Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India a Public Sector Enterprise (SPMCIL), the Board of Directors of the Company is also accountable to the Government of India.
The day-to-day management of the Company is entrusted to the Chairman, the Whole Time Directors and other Officers of the Company, who exercise their decision-making as per delegation of powers. The company has well defined systems with respect to decision-making process. Generally, the proposals requiring decisions are initiated at the appropriate level of the executive, depending upon the nature with regard to financial implication, urgency, and importance of the matter.

The Company has well defined procedures and guidelines for smooth operations and its officers discharge their respective functions within the norms set through:
• Delegation of Powers issued to the Chairman & Managing Directors, functional Directors and to the officers of the Company at various levels. The exercise of powers should not infringe upon different provisions of the Companies Act, Government Guidelines and any other statutory/regulatory requirement. The delegation of powers is subject to observance of Memorandum of Association, Articles of Association, relevant policy, guidelines and administrative instructions of the Company.
